Description
The Data Logging Shield is very handy for most data logging situations.
The shield has a number of features which lend them selves to make a good data logger. The first is expandable memory in the form of a fat16 or fat 32 SD Card(Not supplied with the shield), an inbuilt real-time-clock to give the exact time when an entry is made, and a large prototyping area to set up the sensors which are being used for input.
The shield is shipped fully assembled and with an accompanying battery for the real time clock. The only construction needed is the soldering of the male to male headers used to mount the shield.
The shield is fully documented and supported by a library created by Adafruit.
